Another wonderful gig under our belt, this time at a 60th birthday party in Larchmont. Seasoned pro Nicole Pasternak joined us on vocals, and the real deal Ray Macchiorola on guitar. Fantastic evening and a very happy time was had by band and clients alike. Upcoming gigs in 2013 include a cinema opening and a wedding in Connecticut... Watch this space!

I don't write reviews but I jumped at the chance to extoll the virtues of the Westchester Jazz Band. Matt and his colleagues were very professional, terrific performers and made my husbands surprise party come alive! I have never had so many compliments from guests about the wonderful music and general atmosphere of any party I have given. I have to say that the band totally enlivened the evening and made the party one that we will never forget - it was a magical evening thanks to WJB. Thanks again and you can be sure I will be calling them again. Highly recommended!

Wednesday 13th November at 8pm we will be playing with a truly amazing line-up of musicians (Mike Dopazo sax, Rob Reich guitar, Scott Fragala bass, Matt Skeaping drums). We play a set from 8-9:30, then local pros and semi-pros sit in for a jam session. It's all happening in Tappan, NY. Whizz over the Tappan Zee, head south on 9W past Piermont and a little bit further! Or 12 minutes drive north from the GW. The pub is The Old '76, which boasts an amazing menu in really lovely old wood panelled decor. It's the oldest pub in the US with a lot of history: George Washington liked a tipple here! I know its a school night, but if you can come, we'd love to see you there. $5 cover.

The band arrived on time and set up just as we had discussed. Several guests have told us that the band was such a nice addition to the day, and I was personally so happy with how everything turned out . Would highly recommend them for weddings!

WJB with Tony Jefferson on vocals, pictured here sitting in on drums, whilst I grab bug spray from the car! An amazing evening at a beautiful residence in Rye: fantastic music, great to play with such a consummate performer as Tony... Wonderful hosts, awesome food, such friendly atmosphere! Happy days....

I think any hotel or booking organization should be thrilled to have this terrific group. We live in a time where anything goes in term of music making...but these guys are real musicians. The songs are very imaginative in their setting and so tastefully executed. They really swing! Skeaping is a gem and so are his other musicians. They are worth so much more. Jump while you still hire them at this extremely reasonable rate.
